Landing Conversion Review

Locate observed landing-page and conversion-funnel friction for ad or marketing traffic, then propose diagnostic checks or experiments without asserting untested causes.

Conversion & experimentsWorks with exports or live data

When to use it

When a landing page or funnel has observed drop-offs that need diagnostic checks.

Try asking

“Find where landing page visitors drop off before converting and propose the next check.”

What you get back

A funnel review that identifies observed drop-offs, relevant segment differences, evidence gaps, and testable page hypotheses.

Fictional example output

Overall accepted-submit rate is 170 / 1,500 = 11.3333%. Mobile is 8.00% versus desktop 18.00%; form-start to accepted-submit is 40.00% mobile versus 60.00% desktop.

The mobile start-to-submit drop is 120 of 200 starts (60.00%). This localizes an observed friction point but does not prove the six fields caused it: traffic intent, device measurement, and form errors remain alternatives.

First check mobile validation errors and backend acceptance with safe test submissions. If instrumentation is sound, design a one-change form simplification experiment using accepted submissions as the primary outcome and qualified-demo rate as a guardrail. No causal winner, revenue estimate, or redesign instruction follows from the current evidence alone. No page changed.

The method

With an Orphex connection

If an Orphex connector is available, check it before asking for exports. Run capability_search with platform orphex and limit 100; use a read only if that search returns its id, and ask which workspace to use when several are bound. Read controller.catalog then controller.fetch at level campaign for the paid traffic, spend and platform-credited conversions behind the page. The funnel is a live analytics read: run capability_search with platform google_analytics and use google_analytics.funnel_read for ordered step completion and google_analytics.report_read for landing-page, source and device segments; for page experience, run it with platform google and use technical_seo.crux_read for field data and technical_seo.pagespeed_read for a lab run, each only when that search returns it. Then list guides with skill_catalog (kind guide, topic measurement) and follow a matching one through skill_read; choose by title, never by a stored id.

Orphex Landing Conversion Review

Review funnel and page evidence from the Orphex connection below when it reaches it, and supplied page copy, screenshots, funnel exports, experiment notes, and analytics documents otherwise. Do not claim to have opened or inspected a live page that no read returned and the user did not provide.

If a read is not returned, this connection cannot reach that Orphex data for the workspace: say so, then use the live platform reads it offers or the supplied exports. An absent, refused or empty read is not evidence of zero, none or healthy. Describe each read with capability_describe before run_read, keep date_end no later than yesterday, disclose request adjustments, and name each number's source, workspace and window. This skill's evidence rules still govern any guide, insight or playbook label, and no read authorizes account changes. Ask the user only for what is still missing.

Define the funnel

Record the page or variant, target audience, traffic sources, date range, account timezone, device or locale segments, and the intended conversion. Name each funnel event and denominator, such as sessions to form starts to submitted leads to qualified leads. Do not call unlike stages the same conversion.

For each stage, show counts and the relevant rate. State whether the denominator is sessions, users, clicks, or a prior funnel stage. Check for duplicate submissions, consent or bot filters, missing pages, and event-definition differences when source documents provide evidence. Mark unavailable stages and zero denominators explicitly.

Segment only where the supplied data supports it. Device, source, campaign, locale, returning status, and page variant can explain aggregate movement through mix changes. Show the segment's volume before comparing rates. Do not infer that a device experience caused a gap when traffic intent or campaign mix also differs.

When screenshots or copy are supplied, connect each proposed friction point to visible evidence, such as unclear offer language, mismatched message, hidden action, form burden, or missing reassurance. Separate what the artifact shows from what needs live usability or performance evidence. Do not diagnose load time from a screenshot.

Explain limits and choose next checks

Treat observational conversion gaps as associations. A before-and-after change may also reflect traffic, seasonality, spend, or tracking shifts. Use a properly documented randomized experiment for causal claims. If sample size or assignment details are missing, say so and propose a test or additional cut rather than declaring a winner.

Prioritize hypotheses by likely user impact, evidence strength, and ease of checking. For each one, state the observed pattern, possible explanation, next measurement or test, primary metric, guardrail, and relevant segment. Preserve one main change per test when the goal is to learn causality.

State the conversion definition and period first. Show a funnel table with counts and rates, then a short list of observed friction signals and testable hypotheses. Close with missing evidence and the next check that would most reduce uncertainty.

Portable inputs and examples

State whether the result is complete, partial, or blocked for the requested decision. Link material findings to actual supplied rows/sources and separate observed metrics, hypotheses, and estimates. Lead with a short business conclusion, then evidence, uncertainty, and the next measurable check. A data export or installed skill does not authorize account changes.

For the supported arithmetic only, optionally run the bundled calculator with Python 3: python3 scripts/marketing_math.py weighted-ratio < calculation.json. Read its input mapping in the input contract before preparing JSON. It reads JSON, not CSV directly. If Python or the requested method is unavailable, show a reproducible alternative calculation or mark it unsupported; do not report an uncomputed result as verified.
